ASSUMPTION OF RISK, RELEASE OF LIABILITY, AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT

By registering for and participating in the football camp (the “Camp”), each participant and, if applicable, their parent or legal guardian (collectively, the “Participant”) acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:

1. Assumption of Risk
Participant understands and acknowledges that participation in athletic activities, including football training, drills, and competition, involves inherent risks, including but not limited to serious bodily injury, permanent disability, paralysis, and death. Participant voluntarily assumes all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of others.

2. Release and Waiver of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Participant hereby releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue Nyheim Hines, Garner High School, and all affiliated coaches, trainers, staff members, volunteers, sponsors, and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, or liabilities of any kind arising out of or related to participation in the Camp, including but not limited to those caused by the negligence of the Released Parties.

3. Indemnification
Participant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to Participant’s involvement in the Camp, including any claims brought by or on behalf of Participant or third parties.

4. Medical Authorization
Participant authorizes Camp staff to obtain emergency medical treatment if deemed necessary and acknowledges responsibility for any resulting medical expenses. Participant affirms they are physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent safe participation.

5. Compliance with Rules
Participant agrees to abide by all Camp rules, instructions, and safety protocols. Failure to comply may result in removal from the Camp without refund.

6. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State in which the Camp is conducted.
